The AirPods Pro (Gen 2/1) are not waterproof or sweatproof. They weren’t designed for use in the shower, those mishaps where coffee or wine spilled on your device, or those misadventures with food!
Enter the Catalyst Waterproof case. The case is waterproof up to IP67- 1m/3.3ft and features a unique one-piece foldable design, which incorporates patented waterproof sealing ribs to prevent water, dust, and dirt from entering your AirPods, keeping them safe and clean, reducing exposure to dirt and bacteria that could otherwise cause ear infections. The waterproof plug at the base of the case offers easy access to charge the device, but also seals out water from the charging port.

The Waterproof Case for the AirPods Pro is designed to to survive drops of up to 1.2m/4ft (MIL-STD-810G) and protects the device against scratches, drops or other impacts that can affect the Charging Case’s water resistance and inbuilt acoustic membranes. The premium soft silicone material holds the device securely with its non-slip grip and the pattern textured design. The one-piece foldable design wraps around the Charging Case when folded up, so that even after a drop, the lid will stay closed and the AirPods will not pop out. To fully protect the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) against water and drops, the lanyard loop, speaker and vent of the device are fully sealed and covered inside the case. What's more, the case does not interfere with the Ultra Wideband transmission of the device, so the Precision Finding feature of Find Nearby can be used to locate it using the Find My app with iOS 16, even if it's fallen into a crevice of a couch or hiding under a stack of mail. The high frequency sound transmitted by the Play Sound feature, is also clearly audible through the Waterproof case.

Our case is compatible with wireless/Qi-certified charging mats. The material is easy to clean and disinfect, won’t stress crack and it doesn’t attenuate wireless charging speed. In fact, testing conducted by Catalyst and by an independent third-party testing lab for the AirPods Pro (1st generation) found the wireless charging inside our case has an up to 40-minutes faster charging time compared to competitor cases made of other materials, such as polycarbonate. Battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.
